Fun Fall!!!

Let's see...where do I start?! Since the VCY Rally in Milwaukee, it's been a whirlwind of sorts! The Rally was awesome, the people responded very well and it was fun to do! On Sunday we did another Revival America in Hartland, WI. So that means we did Revival America 3 times in one week! It was exhausting!

Sunday was the opener of the NFL season and I am a die hard Green Bay Packer's fan! Born and raised in Wisconsin, it's a given! The big game was that evening and I had Lincoln all decked out in his outfit! :) He went to Sunday evening church like this!

Joe made my day when he got the screen and projector all set up! It was so much fun! We watched the game outside, it was a beautiful night and the Packers won! :) So this was literally my "view from my front door!"
Near the end of the game it was time for Lincoln to settle down for bed...BUT the game was too exciting for him to be settling down for bed!!! :)

After Hartland, we traveled an hour to Utica, WI. I played basket ball against Utica in high school and it was nice to see some of the girls that I played with! I also met Kim and Erin and made new friendships with them! Lincoln loved playing with them when they came to visit during their lunch break!

Now we are in Inver Grove Heights, MN. We spent all day Friday at Mall of America and even got to go to IKEA. (never been there, mom said it was a MUST!) We enjoyed browsing around, window shopping, and visiting the sharks in the underwater adventure! For lunch we went to Rain Forest Cafe, Lincoln wasn't too sure of that place. I found out he doesn't like thunder storms or fog...

One of the things that I've really liked about traveling is the chance that we get to see some of our really good friends. Jon and his wife Elise don't live too far from where we are at now! We enjoyed having them over the last couple evenings! Jon's a great friend that we met in college, he was in our wedding...it was so nice to meet his wife for the first time! We love them and it seemed that Lincoln did too!
I dont have much more time...but these picture are for my mom and Brooke...(and who ever else wants to enjoy them!) He's wearing his Charlie Brown shirt from Brooke!

I can't wait till next week! We will be in Northern Wisconsin at the Everson's (in-law's) house for about two weeks! It will be nice to get to spend time with the family! I'm planning on visiting my family for a few days and visiting my siblings at NIU. I always LOVE going "home" whenever we get the chance. Northern Wisconsin is beautiful! Will always be home to me!

Well, I've wasted way too much time...I need to get ready for the evening service!

Joe and I travel for the Bible Revival Evangelistic Team. (Old pic from last year before Lincoln arrived) With Joe's brother and his family, we make up the Bible Revival Team. We travel across the country to local churches ministering with music and preaching. We've been on the team since August of '08 and it's been quite an experience! What we call "home" is a travel trailer that hooks up to the back of our truck. We love having our home with us everywhere we go. And the view outside our door is always new and exciting!

Another thing that you have to know about me is that I was born and raised in Wisconsin and it's still very much apart of my life. I am a cheesehead and proud of it! I love being with my family and traveling does make me homesick. Other than Joe, my mother is my best friend! Please visit her blog. Her frangrenced soaps are wonderful!

Long time, no type

I'm really bad at this. I really want to get in the hang of keeping updates. But there's a little thing in the way called "LIFE." hehehe that just reminded me of something I said to mom last week. I said that in her car she has 2 blue heads and 3 pink heads. Pretty soon with one less pink head. I'll be starting my own car real soon. The game of LIFE.
Anyways. Enough of the stupid talk. Mom took some pictures of Joe and I couple weeks ago. Let me know what you think. We are trying to find something for the front of our invitations.

Enjoy!!! Mom made this collage thingy. We also went to Glamor Shots and got some pictures done. But it costs an extra $50 to get any copy rights. That's why we are trying to do our own pictures for the invitations.
Other than that, school is keeping me really busy. Joe and I are meeting with Coach Werhy every week for Marriage Counseling, what an adventure I gotta say. :)
Spring Break went really well. Joe and I went to Midland with his family to go look for housing. It was fun looking at all of the apartments. But it looks like right now we might be staying in a basement. Which isn't too bad. The family that is offering it is really nice and considering the fact that Joe and I are trying to save up for a trailer and truck. Please keep us in your prayers. I'm getting excited for graduation. Only four weeks. It's amazing, I can't believe that I'm leaving this place and that I'll be done with school. But it's too depressing to think that I still have WAY too much stuff to do...I better get started. (sigh)
So here comes life again at full speed. God has given me strength and I praise him for that. I'm so glad that I can go to my Father for anything and everything. He's been such a comforter.

Winter Wonderland

No, I didn't take this picture. I found it online. But this is what it looks like outside right now. This morning we got dumped about 10' or more. So we had closed campus today and couldn't go out on extension. I think I really needed this break. I got to sleep in, and get lots of homework done.
I'm planning on taking my camera out some time today when a group of us go sledding!!!
Untill then, we are snowed in!!!

Praise God for divided garments!!!

Yes, the Northland admen have finally made a very wise choice in woman's attire. Listen to this, now! Girls are allowed to wear pants after supper, and all day on Saturdays till Spring Break. And all of God's people (mainly woman) say....AMEN!!!!
I'm gonna have to buy some more pants!!!!

I love him infinity no say backs

No, not the big dog that I found in my car smelling like Joe....I love Joe!!!! Last Monday Joe put this HUGE dog in my car with a sweet card that sang "How sweet it is to loved by you" when you open it. And when I opened my car door to get in, I actually thought Joe was in there b/c I could smell his colonge so strongly.

So now every night I sleep with this huge dog. I actually use it as my pillow!!! And I smell Joey all night!!! hehehe. But I need to pick a name. What should I name him?

Anyways...It's been a long time since I've posted. So I have a lot to say. And some pics too!!!

I had a lot of fun with my friends Cristie and AJ. But that week was such a busy school week for me, I didn't take too many pictures, so here are some that Cristie sent me. I wanted to get some of AJ too. But he was off campus a lot.

Last week I decided that I wanted to work camp. During chapel on Tuesday they announced that they needed more girl counselors. Now, I've always wanted to counsel, but always would put it off, or think of something else to do, or always have school as an excuse. But this was my last chance before graduating!!! So Brooke and I decided to take the chance. I wanted to take pictures, but the only ones I have are me cleaning the cabin after camp had ended. (or playing around with the camera while I was cleaning.) I wasn't too thrilled to be cleaning. I wanted to go to sleep...


Sorry this post is so late. As you can tell, I'm not very good at it, and I don't take pictures when I should. I'll try to be better at it.

Today's the day!!!

Today I'm taking cuts and going to Green Bay with Joe and Stephanie to pick up Cristie! I'm so excited. AJ just texted me and said that he is meeting us in Green Bay and then we will all go out to eat someplace nice! YEEAH!!!! Cristie and AJ should be here all week. I'm sure I'll take pictures and then I'll post them. I've been waiting all week to post my pics of the chocolate fountain that my mom bought. But I can't find the cord to my camera...but I'll try and get my pics on asap. Have a good weekend. Who knows when I'll post again. Maybe later next week.

I'm so happy!!!!

This is a picture of Joe and me with two very special people in my life. My very good friends Cristie and AJ. This weekend I went home to rest and do so homework. It was a nice relaxing time, home by myself with the dog. Till AJ called around noon. It was so good to hear from him. I miss having him around NBBC. Then, couple hours later, Cristie called me. The happy news is that both Cristie and AJ will be here on campus this week. I'm so excited. Just like old times finally. :) We are going to party it up this weekend. I miss these two so much. I can't wait to hug Cristie and laugh with her and have all four of the dsh dsh dsh together again. Cristie and AJ are my family and I've been miserably here with out them. This is going to be an awesome week!!!!

Pray for the Doolittle family

I got this email today.

Doug Doolittle, a former staff member, passed away this afternoon after a battle with cancer. Please continue to pray for Diane (his wife), Lauranne, Wesley, and AJ (his children). Pray for Doug's parents, Diane's parents, as well as the siblings of both Doug and Diane.

I didn't know Mr. Doolittle at all. But through testimonies from other people, this man lived a life for God. My teacher Miss Wagar mentioned in class today at how amazed she is at how his wife is just a wonderful tesimony of God's grace in her life. I know that this will be hard for NBBC's faculty. They have been praying for Doug for a long time. Also remember family members. I don't know what it's like to lose a close family member. It's go to be hard. But praise God that He is still on His throne and is in control.

BBbbbbrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's SO cold here!!!! Remind me again why I'm here at Northland. I'm shivering right here in my seat. This morning was not a fun one. I woke up freezing cold. The furnace was not working. So I was looking forward to a lovely hot shower. No luck there either. Everyone in the trailer had used the hot water. So I took a quick lukewarm shower in a freezing cold trailer. I hate cold showers. It's an ugly start to an ugly day. But like brother Farrell says, "you attitude is your choice." I always remember Klarissa telling me that.
So, cold trailer, cold shower, next is the long walk to devos through the frozen tundra. It's so cold here, that each time you take a sniff, your nostrils stick together. hehehe. Nose freeze. This picture is where I wish I could be right now.
But I'm not going to have a bad attitude. I just got out of Doc Survey 2 with Dr. Doug Bennett. We are just getting into the topic of Angelology. I think it will be really interesting.
This semester is going to be quite different than any other semester. I've been walking around aimlessly or sitting in the rec hall a lot by my self the past few days. I think which is why I decided to get a blog site. I have so much time on my hands right now. Joe works mornings and then goes back to bed. Tuesday/Thursdays he doesn't have any classes. So there is no reason why he should come on campus. And then on Mon/Wed/Fri he has two classes after lunch. I don't think our schedules work out where we can eat lunch together. So my heart has been very heavy lately because I miss him very much. The only time I've really gotten to see him is at other activities where I'm working, or other people are around. Not that I don't like people around...it's just that sometimes a girl would like to have her time alone with her man. You know? Well, Joe and I talked about that last night. Joe is such a good counselor and friend. He could see that I was down about it. He is very encouraging. I know that I won't be able to see Joe much this semester...But I'll use the times that we do get together and cherish them. In 169 days, we will be married and then spending the rest of our lives together. So my goal this semester is to finish hard, give all that I've have, bond closer with my girls, and seek God. Chapel will be starting in a half hour, so I must wrap things up here. I wish I was on the beach right now....

Well here I am creating my very first blog. I thought this would be nice to keep an update on my up coming wedding. I'm kinda scared using a blog. I never really liked blogging. Just never was my thing. So here I go off into the world of blogging.
Right now I'm into my third day of school for the second semester. After this semester is graduation!!! YEAH!!! And then work for two months, and then a wedding on July 14th!! Anyways. Hi....My name is Bethany. I rather be called Beth. I'm engaged to Joseph Everson. (He's wonderful!) Our wedding is July 14, 2007. We got engaged Christmas night in Menominee, MI on the shores of Lake Michagan. Joe is taking 6 credits this semester and is working part time at the Fed-Ex Ground in Iron Mountain. I'm taking 17 credits, working in the Athletic Dept. After the wedding Joe and I are planning on moving to Midland, MI and working near Calvary Baptist Church. For a year we will be there raising support from local churches. After that we will be joining the Bible Revival team with Joe's brother Ben Everson and his wife Amanda and three children. We are very excited to see how God will provide as we will need to find a truck and trailer that we will call "home".
